Tactical Playground

Welcome to Tactical Playground! If you are a sim or gaming enthusiast, then you will fit right in with us!  We are a mature group of simmers that like to get together on-line regularly to either fly or shoot, depending on the mood. We use Ventrilo Comms, HOTAS Joysticks, and Track-IR devices. 

Some of the titles we play are:

• IL2-1946 - A WWII flight sim with realistic flight models.  (Our favorite right now.)
• Lock-On: Modern Air Combat - Modern day flight sim, many mods to add new planes. Easy mission creation tools, challenging re-fueling and carrier landings.
• Armed Assault (ArmA) - An ultra-realistic FPS combat simulator.  This isn't counter-strike soldier!! Take on one of many combat roles in an assault on an enemy area 40km in size.  Elements need to work together to accomplish the missions, else EPIC FAIL.
• X-Plane - Highly accurate modeled flight sim
• X-Wing Alliance - This is for days when we just want to have fun. "Red-Leader checking in!"
• Freelancer - This little jem by Microsoft is aged, but still fun.  Brings back memories of the old Wing Commander with elements of Privateer.
